Can I approve posts before they go live?
Yes. Nothing has to publish without you. Autopilot is optional and off by default: review, edit, or delete anything in your queue first, and only enable auto-posting when you trust the drafts. Many people run OttoSocial as a draft-and-schedule tool and publish manually.
Is OttoSocial really set-and-forget?
It can be — but only when you choose it. OttoSocial starts review-first: autopilot is off by default and every AI draft waits in your queue for your approval. Is OttoSocial safe for my X account?
OttoSocial connects through X’s official OAuth — it never sees or stores your X password, and you can revoke access from your X settings at any time. Posts go out through the official X API at the cadence you set (up to 6 posts a day on Starter, 12 on Pro, 24 on Creator and Business; max 1 per hour), and autopilot is a toggle you control, not a bot you unleash.

Beyond the included ones, link posts are $1 each — and only within a daily budget you set yourself. You also approve which links autopilot may post; unapproved links are held, never posted silently.
